Motorcycling Australia is committed to achieving excellence on the international stage and in its efforts to do so, has developed a long and proud association with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra. Through this partnership Motorcycling Australia continues to produce athletes and coaches who are at the forefront of sport science and its use in motorcycle sport.
Each year Motorcycling Australia offers talented up and coming athletes and representatives of National Teams (eg. ISDE and TdN) the chance to attend the AIS and other High Performance Camps. These camps equip riders with skills in all manner of sport science topics which are crucial to successful performance (eg. nutrition, sports psychology, physiology, strength and conditioning etc). In addition to these topics, many camps involve on-bike tuition from some of Australia’s leading Coaches.
